This document describes how to connect to virtual machine (VM) instances in Awanio.
If you are using a Linux VM (ubuntu, centos, debian, etc) you can see a value in the SSH Access section on the VM details page on the Platform.
Then follow these steps:
- Copy the SSH Access value
- Open terminal and type “ssh [SSH Access value]”, for example: ssh hauck4228@103.179.254.210
- Type yes if it is your first time connecting to this VM
- If you are using password for authentication when creating the VM, enter the VM password
- If you are using SSH and using the related device to access the VM, you will be connected without having to enter more data
If you are using a Windows VM, you can see a value in the RDP Access section on the VM details page on the Platform.
Then follow these steps:
- Copy the RDP Access value
- Open Remote Desktop Connection and enter the IP address in the “Computer” field
- Click Show Options to display Username field
- Enter the username
- Click Connect button
- On the VM details page, you can access your VM through our web terminal, on one page.
- VNC Client is also available and it will be opened in a new tab.
- On the VM details page, you can access your Windows VM through our VNC Client.
