This page provides an overview of Bare Metal features provided by Awanio.
A bare-metal server is a physical computer server that is used by one consumer, or tenant, only. Each server offered for rental is a distinct physical piece of hardware that is a functional server on its own. In Awanio Dashboard, a hosting provider as administrator can configure bare metal, so it is ready to be used by the customers/users at Awanio Platform.
Pricing plans for Bare Metal can be set per:
- Month
- 3 Months
- 6 Months
- 12 Months (Year)
Customers can choose to pay in advance for a period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Discount is applicable for 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year periods of the pricing plan.
You can manage your server inventories on Awanio Dashboard. Awanio uses MAAS as a technology stack to manage your bare metal inventory. You can simply do 3 steps on the Awanio Dashboard to prepare bare metal inventory:
- Create
- Register MAC Address
- Commissioning After the commissioning process is finished, it will be ready and available for users to create bare metal on the Platform.
When you create a bare metal server, you can specify the operating system (OS) that you need installed on your server. If you need an OS that does not appear in the options, contact our support team.
Each bare metal created includes 1 free public IP address. If you need additional public IP addresses, you can add them when you create bare metal with additional charges per IP address.
